The main reason for impeller imbalance.

The reasons for the imbalance of impeller in use can be simply divided into two types: impeller wear and impeller scaling. The reason for these two situations is related to the dust removal device connected in front of the induced draft fan. The main reason for the impeller imbalance caused by the dry dust removal device is wear, while the main reason for the wet dust removal device to affect the impeller imbalance is scaling.

Wear of impeller


Although the dry dust removal device can remove most of the large particles of dust in the flue gas, a small number of large particles and many small dust particles pass through the induced draft fan with high temperature and high speed flue gas, so that the blade is continuously washed. In the long run, blade wear is formed at the exit of the blade. Since this wear is irregular, it creates an imbalance of the impeller.

In addition, the surface of the impeller is easily oxidized at high temperature, which is easy to form a thick oxide skin. The binding force between these oxide skins and the impeller surface is not uniform, and some oxide skins will automatically fall off by vibration or centrifugal force, which is also a reason for the imbalance of the impeller.

The method to solve the impeller scale:

(1) Water spraying descaling: This is a commonly used descaling method. The water spraying system is installed on the shell of the induced draft fan, which is composed of pipes, 3 nozzles (1 is located at the outlet of the impeller, 2 are located at the inlet) and drainage holes. The water source is generally tap water, and the pressure is about 0.3MPa. This method usually works. The disadvantage is that it takes a long time to descale each time the machine is stopped, and the machine needs to be stopped several times a month for descaling. Affect the normal use of the unit.

(2) High pressure gas scale removal: the system adopts a structure similar to that of the water spray system, but its pipelines are high pressure resistant pipelines, special nozzles and high pressure gas sources. This device is fast and effective to remove the scale of the blade. It can open the high-pressure air source in the gap between the normal shutdown of the induced draft fan and complete the scale removal in only tens of seconds. Because the operation is simple and convenient, it can be carried out many times a day, which not only solves the problem of laborious and time-consuming manual descaling, but also significantly reduces the production cost of the whole unit. The problem is whether the user has a ready source of high pressure gas (the pressure is between 0.8 and 1.5MPa, and can use compressed air or nitrogen), otherwise, a special high pressure compressor equipment is needed.

(3) Continuous air blowing and cleaning: Structurally, continuous venting device does not require an external source, which makes use of the exhaust pressure, induced draft fan itself will be a small amount of flue gas (1% ~ 2% of the rated air flow) from the interior of the induced draft fan to the special nozzle, the nozzle in the impeller of the imported, with high speed to fire smoke cough into non-working surface of leaf blade, the scavenging is continuous, it begin with the opening of induced draft fan, It not only blows off the dust just stuck to the blade, but also prevents the dust deposition and thickening, and does not need to stop the machine for scaling. The device has the advantages of simple structure, small change momentum to the induced draft fan, and good anti-scaling effect, which is a very developed new technology.
